Jacques had been in the works for two or three years before I finally finished him this fall in time for a convention styling competition by Integrity Toys, where a doll was supposed to be styled monochromatically. I chose shades of blue for Jacques, and I think they fit his cold look well. He has purple lips and fingernails – something I haven’t done before. I think Jacques resembles Henry Cavill as Geralt from Witcher. But I haven’t seen the show and I was already done with Jacques’s hair and face when I saw the likeness.
